Wakefield Council, working in partnership with Renewi, is pleased to offer residents the opportunity to claim free soil improver from the household waste recycling centres at South Kirkby, Glasshoughton and Wakefield.

This initiative is to say thank you to residents for recycling their garden waste over the past year. 200 tonnes of soil improver will be available on a first come, first served basis, while stocks last. The product will be stored loose and residents will need to bring their own bags and containers this year.
